September 4, 2025 - Regional In-Person Seminar (Waltham, MA) This presentation will introduce the new tall wood code provisions and construction types, as well as the technical research and testing that supported their adoption.. It will also analyze reasons for vertical movement (short and long term), provide methods of calculating anticipated movement, highlight detailing options to minimize and accommodate movement, and discuss strategies implemented on tall mass timber projects completed in North America.

Regional In-Person Tour (Delta, AL) - Take an in-depth look at Alabama’s largest cross-laminated timber (CLT) construction project, the 29,000 square-foot Cheaha State Park Lodge The five-story, 32-unit hotel design features wood sourced from Alabama timber across three towers in a variety of configurations.

November 14, 2025 - Regional In-Person Tour (Seattle, WA) Join WoodWorks on an in-depth look at Asa Mercer International Middle School, a Type III-B mass timber school recently completed in Seattle, WA. Designers of the multi-story, 174,000 sqft project utilized CLT and glulam post-and-beam framing to create a sustainable learning environment that serves 1,000 students in grades 6-8.

November 20, 2025 - Regional In-Person Tour (Bentonville, AR) Join WoodWorks for an in-person look at Walmart's new Home Office in Bentonville, AR, which includes 2.4 million square feet of mass timber office space. The 350-acre mixed-use campus comprises 12 new office buildings.

Regional In-Person Tour (Baltimore, MD) - Attendees will tour this Type III multi-family project, comprised of seven stories of light-frame wood over a concrete podium. At approximately 450,000 sq ft, the development will house nearly 400 units plus amenities and commercial space.
