June 4, 2026 - Regional In-Person Tour (Portland, OR) Join WoodWorks for an in-depth look at the new Portland State University (PSU) Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design. This 104,000 sq. ft. mass timber building was designed as a sustainable hub that unifies the school by housing all three disciplines under one roof.
June 4, 2026 - Regional In-Person Tour (Doraville, GA) The 4,000-square-foot bandshell at Atlanta’s 120-acre Gray Media / Assembly Studios production park features an innovative Chebyshev gridshell made from elastically bent mass timber members anchored to a doubly curved glulam ring beam. Attendees will tour the site with members of the project team, who will share strategies for successful, code-compliant mass timber projects and insights into the project’s design, execution, and factors that influenced material and detail selection.
