Kate Carrigg is a Regional Director with WoodWorks, where she provides free, one-on-one project support to architects, engineers, contractors, and developers designing and building with wood. A licensed Professional Engineer with more than a decade of experience in engineering and construction management, her background includes commercial and multi-family podium projects using both light-frame and mass timber construction.
Kate helps project teams navigate structural systems, constructability, coordination, and other decisions that influence the successful and cost-effective use of wood. She holds dual master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Wood Science and is passionate about advancing practical, sustainable wood solutions that meet project goals.
