Timber House Tour – 670 Union St + Networking Happy Hour

Join Eric Liftin, the project architect with Mesh Architectures, and Momo Sun, PE, PEng, Regional Director for WoodWorks for a tour of Timber House. Located in Brooklyn’s residential Park Slope neighborhood. Timber House is the first mass-timber condominium in the New York region. It is a six-story, 14-unit building, constructed with glulam columns and beams, and GLT floorplates. Sustainability is a theme throughout the 27,000-square-foot building, which is now the largest to be constructed with mass timber in the city based on square footage and height. The building achieves Passive-house-level performance with mass timber as well as generous insulation, air sealing, triple-glazed windows, and energy-recovering ventilation. The condos also have stunning 11-foot-tall ceilings featuring exposed timber beams.
