Column bears on proprietary base plate. Positive connection to concrete and column is achieved with single post-installed threaded rod.

Purpose: Transfer of vertical load from wood column to concrete.

Design Notes

Capacity of connection is dependent on parallel-to-grain capacity of the column bearing on the plate.
This connection provides reduced elevation control relative to grouted connections.
