May 29, 2025 - Regional In-Person Tour (Seattle, WA) Join us for an in-depth look at this three-story, 87,000-sft school building. The project's design incorporated feedback from the Alki community to meet their specific needs and educational standards. Attendees will tour the site with members of the project team, who will share strategies for successful, code-compliant mass timber projects.

June 5, 2025 - Regional In-Person Event (Boston, MA) WoodWorks will announce the 2025 Wood in Architecture Awards in Boston, MA, alongside the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design. Join us for a reception to celebrate the winners, network, and enjoy drinks and appetizers.

June 13, 2025 - Regional In-Person Seminar + Tour (East Lansing, MI). This presentation will take a detailed look at the new code provisions and methods of addressing the new requirements, followed by a a tour of the MSU STEM Facility Site.

June 18, 2025 - Regional In-Person Tour (Cypress, TX) As part of the Bridgeland mixed-use development by Howard Hughes, this 58,000 sqft building is defined by its gabled roof topped with a linear cupola and large timber framed balconies at each floor level.  The project utilizes CLT shear walls and DLT decking supported by a glulam frame. 

August 26, 2025 - Regional In-Person Event (Long Beach, CA) Join Mike Romanowski to learn about two important wood design topics: concealed spaces in light-frame and mass timber construction and tips to simplify mixed-use building analysis.
