Mass Timber On Site: Sacramento Public School Campus Tour
February 12 @ 2:45 pm - 5:00 pm PST
- In Person

Regional In-Person Tour (Sacramento, CA)
This unique educational event will provide an in-depth look at the all-mass timber modernization project at a public school in West Sacramento, comprised of seven buildings and a renovation. Designers utilized glulam and cross-laminated timber (CLT) on the project, which includes classrooms, an administration building, and a library. Attendees will tour the site with team members and learn about detailing and construction techniques utilized throughout the building. The tour format encourages questions and discussion, and attendees can expect to leave with insights into material and detail selection, as well as how the utilization of wood contributes to biophilic design and student well-being. Check out the project on the WoodWorks Innovation Network (WIN) here.
Please join us after the tour for networking and refreshments.
