WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration for being allowed to participate in the building tours organized by WoodWorks -Wood Products Council, I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Assumption of Risk
    I understand that participation in the building tours involves potential risks, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, stair climbing, elevator use, uneven surfaces, construction areas, or other unforeseen hazards. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
  2. Release of Liability
    I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless WoodWorks – Wood Products Council, property owners, tour staff, and all affiliated parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained while participating in these tours.
  3. Health and Physical Condition
    I confirm that I am in sufficient physical condition to safely participate in the tours. I will notify event staff of any specific accessibility or medical needs prior to the event.
  4. Compliance with Rules
    I agree to follow all instructions given by the tour leaders and venue staff. I understand that failure to comply with safety guidelines may result in removal from the tour without refund or liability.
  5. Photographic Release
    I grant permission for photographs and video taken during the tours to be used for promotional purposes by the event organizers.
  6. Severability
    If any portion of this agreement is found to be invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
