Mass Timber Momentum on the East Coast

WoodWorks
Last month in Boston, WoodWorks co-hosted the Mass Timber+ Offsite Construction Conference with FEA (Forest Economic Advisors). The event had a record turnout, with nearly 700 in attendance and 60 exhibitors.
The week kicked off with building tours, where attendees had the chance to see four projects across the city—including Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment – Stellata, 69 A Street, A.R.T. at Harvard University—and an exclusive look inside the David Rubenstein Treehouse at Harvard University.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Softwood Lumber Board (SLB) announced the 2025 Mass Timber in Schools Competition winners and introduced team representatives from projects in Hawaii, Oregon, Michigan, and D.C.
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, providing education and connection among the manufacturers, suppliers, installers and AEC+Ds driving innovative mass timber construction forward in the Eastern U.S. and beyond.

Mark your calendars for Mass Timber+ 2026 in Philadelphia, October 6 – 8. Keep an eye on the Mass Timber+ website for updates: registration will open Spring 2026.
