Thompson Exhibition Building – Mystic Seaport Tour

See the beauty of mass timber on this tour of the Thompson Exhibition Building at the Mystic Seaport Museum, recipient of a WoodWorks Wood Design Award. This project is a visitors center and exhibition hall for Mystic Seaport – a living history museum that celebrates the whaling and shipbuilding industries of nineteenth century New England – and features unique curved glulam timbers, reminiscent of ship timbers.

Following the tour, you’re invited to a networking lunch at the nearby Spouter Tavern.

• Onsite tour 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Networking lunch 12:00 -1:00 at Spouter Tavern on the Mystic Seaport Museum Campus
• We will follow the safety protocols of the venue
