A.B. Ford Park Community Center: A Look at Mass Timber Construction

Join WoodWorks and Mass Timber @ MSU for a tour of the newly completed A.B. Ford Park Community Center! The new center – Detroit’s first climate resilient community center – is designed with solar panels and sustainable cross laminated timber (CLT), and will include flexible space for indoor youth sports, community events, classrooms, and quiet learning spaces.
