Join WoodWorks and Regional Director Chelsea Drenick, SE, for the second annual networking event celebrating women who are driving innovation in wood projects in the Bay Area.

With Keynote Speakers Paige Smith, AIA, LEED BD+C (Lowney Architecture) and Carolyn Bookhart (Resources for Community Development) will present affordable housing in the Bay Area.


Followed by networking & happy hour on the terrace



Paige Smith, AIA, LEED BD+C

Senior Project Manager, Lowney Architecture

Paige is an architect with almost two decades of experience in a wide range of project types, including 7 years in the multi-family residential sector. Having worked on residential projects in both urban and suburban settings for non-profit and for-profit developers, Paige has managed projects from Concept Design through Construction Administration.

Paige has her Bachelor’s in Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Her passion is encouraging women and girls in the construction industry. For the past 15 years, she has volunteered with youth groups and in schools, giving workshops on Engineering and Architectural concepts.


Carolyn Bookhart

Director of Housing Development at Resources for Community Development

Carolyn Bookhart was appointed Director of Real Estate Development in April 2014 and has over 20 years of experience in the development of affordable housing. Under her direction, RCD has completed 13 developments comprising 771 new or renovated homes, with 1,400 more in pre-development or in construction.

Carolyn is a frequent speaker on topics related to housing development, most recently NonProfit Housing Association of Northern California, California Redevelopment Association, San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing, California Green Affordable Housing Coalition, and Greenbuild 2010.
