Opportunities for Wood Use in Low-Rise Commercial Buildings

This course is intended for designers who want to learn more about the use of wood-frame construction for low-rise retail, office and restaurant occupancies designed under the International Building Code. Topics covered include common framing systems and details, paths to code compliance and tall wall design.

Valet is $7 per car.  City parking is available on the corner of 2nd & I Streets and at the garage on Capitol Mall and Front Streets in Old Sacramento.

WoodWorks is an approved AIA provider. Eligible attendees will qualify for two HSW credits.

Engineers and non-member architects will receive a certificate of completion for their participation.

Professional Development Certificates and AIA CES forms will be available on site.
