WoodWorks is a leading provider of education for architects, engineers and others looking for practical, in-depth knowledge on the design of mass timber buildings in the U.S. For 2019, we’ll continue including a mass timber track at every Wood Design Symposium. That’s 7 signature events across the country, each attracting between 200 and 500 people. We also partner with other organizations, leveraging our experience to bring information on innovative wood design to an ever-growing audience.

Submit for a Wood Design Symposium
Due to a high demand for speaking slots and our desire to provide a platform for innovation, WoodWorks is requesting presentation ideas for all of our signature events. Specifically, we’re looking for:
- Session types: Project case studies, research/feasibility/product studies, panel discussions
- Topics: Design, specification, product features/benefits, procurement/logistics, performance/feasibility, cost, construction speed, lessons learned
We’re looking for a mix of presentations that inspire designers to consider mass timber for their projects, while giving them the knowledge and confidence to pursue their ideas.
