Nomination Process

Eligibility and Deadlines

To be eligible, designers, firms and/or projects must be based in Minnesota, Illinois or Wisconsin.  Projects completed in the past 3 years can be nominated for any of the WoodWorks awards. Nominations must be received by August 1, 2010.

There is no cost to nominate a project or individual for a WoodWorks Wood Design Award.

All nomination packages should clearly indicate all of the necessary contact information for both the nominator and nominee (including primary contact name, phone number, mailing address and email address).

Multiple submissions are encouraged, but they should not be grouped together. Multiple submissions should be easily separated into their applicable award categories.

Once a nomination is submitted, it becomes the property of WoodWorks, which reserves the right to use submitted materials for future promotional use. Nomination packages will not be returned to the nominee or submitting party.

Accompanying photos should be clear, 8” X 10” photographs. Electronic photos should be submitted on a CD in a high quality digital format (jpeg preferred), minimum 300dpi.

Questions can be emailed to Duane Schantz, Regional Director of WoodWorks North-central, at duane@woodworks.org.
